Dr. Samantha Gress grew up in Katy, Texas, where her love for animals started at a young age.
While earning her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas State University, she began working at a small animal hospital in San Marcos—and it was there she knew she had found her calling in veterinary medicine.
She went on to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University, in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee. Over the years, Dr. Gress has developed special interests in dentistry, dermatology, and feline medicine, and she’s passionate about helping pets live happy, healthy lives.
When she’s not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Gress spending time with her partner Dylan, their sweet American Cocker Spaniel “Beau,” and their two cats, “Buddy” and “Blue.”
Dr. Gress is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She’s thrilled to be part of the community and can’t wait to meet you and your furry family!
